On the morning of September 15th a group of Taiwan freedom and democracy supporters were there to greet Dr. Tsai Ing-Wen as she arrived at The Logan Airport in Boston.
Dr. Tsai Ing-Wen is the DPP presidential candidate for the nation of Taiwan. This election will be held in January of 2012, in what is currently a very close presidential race. To learn more about her and the DPP; CLICK HERE.
She was to continue on this day to give a historic speech at Harvard University and later meet with people at The Harvard Faculty Club.
This speech was to demonstrate her tremendous diplomatic, strategic and political skill to lead one of Asia's most vibrant democracies and America's fifth largest trading partner in the wake of a growing and potentially hostile communist China near-by.
She solidly demonstrated that she and her party offers true peace and security for all stake-holders in The Taiwan Straits based on solid principles of responsible trade, human rights, democracy and international law.
