Come Join Us for the 2nd Annual Freedom Climb at Mount Washington in New Hampshire for Taiwan and Tibet

Join us to show your support for Tibet and Taiwan and meet new friends in our hike to the summit of Mt. Washington.

Start Time: Saturday, June 25, 2010 at 1:00pm
 
End Time: Sunday, June 26, 2010 at 9pm

Location: Mt Washington, New Hampshire

Tentative schedule:

Saturday / June 25th
 
1.  1pm Meet and depart from Danvers, MA
2.  5pm Arrive at North Conway, NH
3.  Stay overnight at the North Conway Grand Hotel

Sunday / June 26th 

1.  7am Breakfast
2.  Drive to Pinkham Notch, start hike 1pm Reach summit
3.  Break, and start return trip down and/or drive to Pinkham Notch
4.  Return back to MA.

Estimated Costs:

Participants will be responsible for their own meals and lodging. Stay in the hotel is approximately $40 per person in a room of 4.

Planned trail route:

Take the Direttsima Trail and Glen Boulder Trail to the summit. Alternate trail route: (based on the desires and hiking abilities of the attendees) Wildcat Ridge Trail.

Please be sure to bring good quality hiking boots and proper gear (non-cotton clothing-warm and water resistant), gortex (similar) wind jacket, wool socks etc.. We want everyone to be SAFE and have a good time while supporting Tibet and Taiwan.

Proper gear and safety are your responsibility during this event! In case of inclement weather in the area, we will cancel/modify the schedule to ensure safety.
