Special Announcement: Vigil / protest in Harvard Square, Cambridge Massachusetts
Come and support human rights and Tibetan freedom in Boston this Wednesday February 25th Tibetan New Year
February 23, 2009
Human rights and freedom now in Tibet!
Tibetan New Year not celebrated in Solidarity with Tibetans in Tibet as China's brutal crack down worsens!
Tibetans and supporters world-wide are refusing to celebrate the Tibetan New Year (Losar), in solidarity with Tibetans in Tibet to commemorate all the brave brothers and sisters who have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of Tibet in peaceful protest this past year and also for those who continue to suffer under the brutal Chinese communist government's crack down.
Tibet's struggle for human rights, liberty and religious freedom is a modern-day David verses Goliath tale for justice and righteousness in the modern world.
The peoples Republic of China with all its weaponry, power and genocide on one side faces the unshakable determination of a peaceful non-violent Tibetan people who demand their liberty, culture and religion and refuse to become extinct on the other.
Their struggle is the ultimate show-case for the world that corporate greed, politics and genocide will not win over humanity. In the end compassion, religious faith and an unyielding courage to never give up will always prevail against brutal oppression.
Yours truly from The Snow Lion Foundation will be there as well to take some photos and be a part of this special Boston event, so please come and join us to take a stand!
